Another watercolor featuring a collection of things catching my eye while walking down the alleys in my neighborhood. Watercolor on paper 7.5″ x 8″. The car is a late 1960’s Ford Galaxy. Below clockwise are pictures of a weather vane, Grape Hyacinth, raspberries, and a quirky little sign I saw on a garage door.

Beautiful Rosa is another example of a Tanala Pottery Cat. She’s decorated with cactus and yucca flowers.

This watercolor is based on a Tanala pottery cat my parents got during a trip to Mexico. The original kitty sits by the fireplace. I named this cat “Eduardo” because he looked to me like an Eduardo. I love wandering through the alleys in my neighborhood because I never know what I’ll see. My neighborhood was built in the early 1920 and there are all kinds of funky, vintage artifacts and architectural details.
